The nights are getting darker, and autumn is well and truly with us. West Norfolk Music Centre is back after its half-term break, and our students will be preparing for our end-of term concert, maybe some exams, and another special Christmas performance.

Congratulations to everyone who took exams last term: our students were awarded two distinctions, five merits and three passes.
If you are a member of West Norfolk Music Centre and if you or your child would like to take an exam this term, please talk to your teacher and then see Sarah to confirm details. Deadline for entries is 2 May 2015.

So, all our trees and lights are down, we’re back at school and (if you were lucky enough to get a break!) work, it’s twelfth night and the weather has reversed back into autumn.

t’s New Year’s Day, so it’s time to make those little promises to yourself about what you’re going to achieve this year. Even better, make those promises to the world (on our Facebook page, or as a comment right here on our website), and you’ll be much more likely to keep them!

Come and hear members of our wind bands, orchestra and choirs sing and play Christmas music in the foyer of Tesco, Hardwick, King’s Lynn, on Monday 22 December, 6-8pm.

The trustees of West Norfolk Music Centre are responsible for deciding how the centre is run, and for making sure that it meets its obligations as a registered charity. Now you can find out a little more about each of the trustees on our website.
Of course, the Centre could not run without its dedicated staff and teachers, and we will be adding mini-biographies for each of them too, so come back again soon!
Come along to West Norfolk Music Centre’s end-of-term concert on Saturday 6 December at 7pm at Springwood High School, King’s Lynn. Hear our groups and individual performers, enjoy refreshments during the interval and try your luck in our ever-popular raffle.

West Norfolk Music Centre’s Annual General Meeting is at 10.30 am on 4 October 2014. All members welcome to attend.
West Norfolk Music Centre now has an account with the PayPal Giving Fund, allowing eBay sellers (whether or not they are members of the Centre) to donate some or all of their sale proceeds to us.
If you are a keen eBay user, why not list some of your items in support of the Music Centre. Your donation can be as little as 10% of the sale price, and eBay’s insertion fee and final value fees are waived on the donation. Even better, if you’re a taxpayer, the PayPal Giving Fund can claim Gift Aid on the donation before passing the whole amount on.
